KOREAN BEER KID
A few weeks ago, I had an opportunity to visit the Pilsner Urquell Brewery located in Pilsen (Plzeň) in Czech Republic. After an hour train ride from Prague and 10-minute walk from the train station, we arrived to the beautiful gate of Pilsner Urquell brewery. Oh and what a beautiful ride, it had recently snowed just outside of Prague and the whole way to Pilsen, we were greeted with snowy forrest and beautiful sceneries. We arrived about an hour before my scheduled tour time, and it was a bit chilly so we decided to check out the restaurant across the street from the visitor center.
Of course, I had to start my day with a nice glass of Pilsner Urquell. We were pretty hungry so we forgot to take pictures of the food served here but they are mostly classic Czech dishes. They were tasty and paired perfectly with their beer. After we were done with our food, we took ourselves to the visitor center to get out of the cold. Once we went inside, we went up to the information center and got our tickets for the tour. We took some pictures as it was decorated for the winter holidays and got started on our tour by amazing Victoria.
Again, huge thanks to our wonderful guide Victoria! If you decide to visit this beautiful historical brewery and you have her as your guide, please tell her I said hi! I would make this trip every time I visit Czech Republic from next time. After the tour, we returned back to Prague and went to the restaurant Lokal to enjoy some Czech beer and food. I also got some foam pour of Pilsner Urquell!
